Winter Park Landscaping

Winter Park, which is in Orange County, adjacent to Orlando, is known for its 100 year-old-winter homes (bungalows), mind blowingly large mansions, an elite private college, and for peacocks.

In three years of living only 2 miles from Winter Park, I’ve yet to see a Peacock, except for on the street signs. I hear they are out there, my eyes are peeled.

I would brand Winter Park the city of greenery. In wealthy areas, the greenery is perfectly sculpted and planned. Even shopping areas are shady and made colorful by foliage. In less affluent areas, the native plants provide a pretty landscape.

Here are a few examples of this from a very expensive area. Apparently light poles, garages, walls, and mailboxes are prime landscaping opportunities!
