Real Neat Blog Award

Thank you Anasa for the nomination!  I am going to play along and answer the questions.

  • How and why did you start blogging?

I am a creative person by nature but spend 40 or so hours a week doing very uncreative work.  My dancing life had dwindled and I was looking for a creative outlet, so I began blogging in 2015.  It was liberating to know that I can post literally anything I want (that’s suitable for all audiences 😉

  • What makes you happy in life?

Definitely dancing, of almost any kind.  I love taking photographs and editing them as well.  I enjoy experiencing new cultures and am not afraid of change.  This is probably why I have always been attracted to big cities.

  • What is your hobby?

That would have to be blogging and keeping up my Instagram and Facebook accounts in an attempt to get my new photography business going.  I’d say photography and dance are passions at this point, but learning how to use related technologies is a hobby.  I wrote about this a while back on EONYC: Becoming Conversant One Byte at a Time.

  • What inspires you?

City life.  The beauty of nature and how it creeps into even the most urban of places.  Sunlight.  Dancing well with someone I’ve never met before.  Making new connections.  Travel.

  • If you could describe yourself in three words, what would they be?

Introverted.  Creative.  Curious.

  • What do you hope to accomplish in 2018?

To close out the year with a few more accomplishments earned for my new business/brand LensMoments.

  • What is your favourite food?

Good quality ice cream or gelato.
