It seemed like, during my 17 years in New York City, that LaGuardia Airport would forever be a confusing, under-construction mess. So, I was delighted to hear about its new look recently and even more so to experience it myself this week.
While there is some construction still going on, to build new gates, I believe, the common terminal areas and baggage claim are brand-spanking new. Artistic and theatric touches abound, including a light and water show in the Terminal B food court.
