This past week, Florida was one of very few states in the US that was not experiencing sub-freezing temperatures, snow and ice. While I’m not a “snow person” I thought it still might be nice to dig up some memories from when this blog was EONYC – Eye on New York City. Here’s a post from exactly two years ago.

A grey season for sure, winter can be less than exciting in New York City. The best way to approach the dullness is to embrace it. I got my camera phone out at sunset in Battery Park City and during a minor snowstorm in Herald Square to capture a little local color.
I yearn for spring buds, but in the meantime will appreciate the gray. The days are getting noticeably longer, which is a good sign.
