Flamenco Exhibit at the Appleton Museum of Art

Part 1

A wonderful exhibition at Ocala’s Appleton Museum offers a brief history of Flamenco dance, music and culture and chronicles its spread from Spain to the US through costumes, and musical and visual art and artifacts.  From costume designs sketched by Picasso to authentic costumes and bokd concert posters, one learns about this unusual art form.
