As a big city resident for 17 years now, I’ve come to appreciate the many tradesmen that keep our buildings, sidewalks and streets safe and functional. Earlier this year, I showed two photographs, Unsung Hero: Brooklyn and Unsung Hero: Honolulu at an art exhibition and made a vow to myself to collect more images of this type to honor these men and women.
Just this week, I’ve added a third- a photo that dates back to when I lived in Budapest, Hungary for a few months in 2012.
Here’s to Unsung Heroes!
