Even though most would describe New York City architecture as a mash up of at least a dozen architectural styles, there is some consistency in door styles. That is why a lot of us find doors that don’t fit one of the common molds so interesting.
Cortelyou Road in the Flatbush-Ditmas neighborhood of Brooklyn is a mostly intact 100 year old residential/commercial street. This is becoming increasingly rare in Brooklyn.
