Brooklyn Museum: What I Saw in New York

There’s so much to see in the Brownstone areas of Brooklyn: Fort Greene, Park Slope, Clinton Hill, Bedford Stuyvesant, Cobble Hill,  Brooklyn Heights and Boerum Hill.  I’ve covered nearly all of these in this blog.

The center of this area, at least for me, is the Grand Army Plaza/Eastern Parkway area, usually referred to as Prospect Heights.  I’ve recently posted about Grand Army Plaza and over the years about the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and Brooklyn Museum.

Today I’m going to focus on the latter .you can spend half a day enjoying this institution. Far less expensive and more charming in some ways than many of its Museum counterparts in the city, the Brooklyn Museum is absolutely worth a visit, any time of the year.
