Flushing, Queens: What I Saw in NYC

My fourth post brings us to the NYC borough of Queens but also to the City’s most extensive and probably most authentic Asian area.  Korean populations dominate but other countries are represented here in goods and cuisine, such as China and Vietnam.

You may also know Flushing as the home of the Mets baseball team and their Citi Field Stadium, location of the US Open (tennis) at Arthur Ashe Stadium and the site of the grand 1939 World’s Fair.

I visited a food hall, an Asian grocery and the Queens Botanical Garden on a rainy afternoon and it was quite enjoyable, almost like a getaway.

I hope you enjoy this little photo tour!
