Long Island City, Queens, by Night

I returned to Long Island City a week after my first post about this area for the exciting occasion of my second art show in New York City.  This time, it was a dark, clear evening. My friend and I visited the Plaxall Gallery to enjoy the opening of the Long Island City Arts Fall Salon show.

I have two pieces in the show, one of them being an edition of my LensMomentsNS photography brand’s signature image. The LONG ISLAND CITY ARTS OPEN did a wonderful job and we enjoyed ourselves.

Next, I just had to take my friend, a Queens resident, to Gantry State Park to take in the night skyline for the first time. Here’s the result. Which do you prefer, the daytime photos or the night ones? I’d really need to go back with a real camera to do the night skyline justice.

Thanks for reading this!
