The next in my series of Brooklyn neighborhoods is Prospect Heights. Bordered by Park Slope on one side and Crown Heights on the other, Prospect Heights is storybook Brooklyn.
It has genteel brownstones, a grand European-style Avenue (Eastern Parkway), Prospect Park, akin to Manhattan’s Central Park, a monumental arch (Grand Army Plaza) and three other great institutions known far and wide: the Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Botanical Garden and the Brooklyn Public Library central branch.
It’s a must-see area! It also has plenty of local color. Here’s more from NYCgo.
Let me know if you’re enjoying this series with a comment. Thank you!
